Process Manufacturing - New Features Scheduling Company Specific Scheduling Screen, shows grid with up to 43 racks vertically and times displayed horizontally. Scheduling information is entered directly from Sales Order, Purchase Order, Blending and Packaging Screens. Scheduling manageable from color-coded grid. Flash Tutorials Flash Tutorials can be generated by third-party software and included on Harvest screens and menus. Bring new staff members up to date quickly with helpful and specific instructions. Financial Statements The Financial Statement setup gets the type of line, debit or credit, from the GL account itself which saves the user from making that determination. A list of accounts is provided on floating toolbar to provide more room on the setup screen. The system provides lists of account ranges, accounts selected from the toolbar, or all Sales and Expenses. Financial Statements can print to PDF, RTF, HTML, or Excel. Pulls up Excel, PDF, or Word immediately without leaving the system. A new feature is available that will show what accounts are Missing from a Financial Statement. This can help the user make sure everything is included that should be included. Also shows accounts that are duplicated. Also includes a new function key to duplicate total lines. Journal Entry Select accounts from the toolbar to duplicate the line above, switching debit and credit amounts. Data entry is minimized. If the account is entered manually, just press Enter through date, period, document, control and desciption. The system will duplicate the data from the line above, as always. Also available: automatic posting. Even though most accountants prefer finer control of what hits the General Ledger, some prefer automatic posting of one or more journal types. Screen-specific Queries Queries are available for all main screens. For example from the Customer Master, the query button will show a list of fields for the Customer Master file. The user can click on two fields and the screen will populate with the customer name, customer code, and the two optional fields. Double-click on a listing and it will populate the Customer Master for fast modifications. It does not bypass any passwords or user levels. Options available to print preview, export to Excel, PDF, RTF, HTML. Available for the Customer Master, Vendor Master, Inventory Master, Equipment, DOT, AP Invoices, any main user screen. Combined Search Products Instead of specifying the type of Product Search, one search screen includes all features: Product, Description, Type-Group. Control-F to find any product quickly, whether the search parameter is part of the product, description, type or group. Additional fields can be included such as Active/Inactive, Customer, Generic, etc. New Reports Menu New Hierarchical List Screen shows main report categories: Inventory Control, Sales Reports, Purchase Reports, etc. Doubleclick for Detail List in that category. The top of the screen provides a list of periods, products, customers, etc. The report screens appear as smaller screens within the main reports screen for a uniform appearance and easier use. Every report offers print options: Print Preview (default), Print to Last Printer, Choose Printer, Export to Excel, PDF, RTF, or HTML. If exported, the print program will activate Excel, Acrobat, Wordpad, or MS Word automatically. Modifiable Help Screens Harvest Help screens have always been user-modifiable, but now they include very fast global search. They also include categories so a group of help screens on similar topics can be combined for export to PDF. Maintain User Passwords and User Levels Management can create and maintain new users to the system. Users can change their own password, but can also be controlled by Management. Track who closed a specific order or made a particular adjustment. Also set user levels within the system to protect access to screens and functions without using passwords. Previous, Last, Next, and New Arrow Buttons These buttons at the top of order screens allow the user to page from one order to the next very quickly without typing order numbers and without referring to the list of Open or Closed orders. Available from Sales Order, Purchase Order, Blend, Package, and even Journal Entry. List of Closed Orders With 32-bit operations the list of closed orders can be grouped and displayed by year instead of multiple groups of several hundred each. View Invoices These screens show a table of highlighted invoices which populate as quickly as our popups with drill-down and Print options. 32-bit Import The 32-bit Import is extremely fast.
