The MtrWizard is a Material Test Checking and Reporting System. It provides a way for engineers to enter specification test parameters, then let clerical staff enter actual test results. This frees up time for engineers to pursue other duties while still providing accurate data. Reports are attractive, professional and easy to read. MTR Wizard is included in the Harvest Fastener System. It is also available as a stand alone system for companies not using Harvest.

First Enter a specification code with all the applicable test parameters. The specification will stay on file for reference against many different heat numbers.

Second Identify the specification that applies to a heat number, and enter actual test results. The system shows the acceptable ranges as they are entered and alerts the user when values are not in the range.

Third When a product is sold, print the Material Test Report to present to the customer. Tracks Material Test Test Reports by customer.

Specifications are entered on the Specification Screen including:

• Tensile PSI or MP min max
• Hardness min max
• Surface hardness min max
• Wedge Tensile strength degree min
• Min Tempering Temperature C. or F.
• Min Elevated Temperature C. or F.
• Yield PSI
• Proof Load lbs lbf or kN
• Elongation %
• Marking Symbol
• Charpy values
• Mag Particle required
• Micro Macro required
• Other - user specified
• Entered by and date
• Modified by and date
• Up to 24 elements with from and to values.

The Lot Entry Screen
Enter a lot number and the associated specification. Only the values required for this specification will appear on the screen. The specification ranges appear at each prompt and checks are performed by the system at entry of each field. The user can override the range on any field if desired. When a lot number is accessed later, it will appear with a large green check or red X mark depending on if it meets specifications. Fields that do not meet specs are flagged on the view.

Print Certificates
The print function is accessible from the Sales Order Screen where the order number, date, customer code and customers order number are known. These display with part numbers from the order so the user can select which parts and heat numbers to include on the print. Remarks can be attached to each line. Products with the same specifications will print together on one page. The printout is orderly and professional.
